I am Canadian university student looking to come work in Paris for three months starting in September.
I have worked in some of the best and busiest fine dining restaurants in Vancouver, have good wine and culinary knowledge, and speak relatively good french.

Work Experience:

The Beach House at Dundarave Pier: 2003-Present
Tasks Performed:
-Head Hostess: Organizing the reservation book, assisting in set up for large functions/weddings, floral arrangement for restaurant and wedding parties, festive restaurant decoration, Artistic director for Festival of Lights charity Christmas event.
-Busser (2003): Setting and clearing tables, bringing tea/coffee and bread to customers, assisting in set up for large events.

The Italian Kitchen (Glowbal Group): 2007-2008
Tasks Performed:
-Leading Hostess: Organizing reservations, working with managers to ensure customer satisfaction, running food and cocktails.

Buschlen-Mowatt Fine Arts Gallery: Feb-May 2008
Tasks Performed:
-Internship: Acting as an executive assistant to the gallery manager and other sales associates, secretarial tasks, assisting in setting up for exhibitions/openings, helping determine which artists the gallery would carry, writing biographies of the artists for the company web site.

Ingledew’s Shoes: 2003
Tasks Performed:
-Sales assistant: Helping customers find the appropriate fit and style of shoe, working the cashier.
