This house would make the perfect holiday cottage as it's got a couple of bedrooms, an attached garden and all services connected. It sits in a very pretty village in the Vienne, just a short drive from L'Isle Jourdain which is a gorgeous riverside town. The cottage is habitable at the moment and while it doesn't need "renovation" work done, it could certainly use a bit of what we like to call "heavy decorating"!!

You enter into the ground floor room which is best classed as a "living area" (19m2) with dining area, corner kitchen and a lovely old fireplace. Also on the ground floor is the rather basic, yet functional, bathroom. The first floor consists of one large bedroom (27m2) and the second floor has the same open plan bedroom space (27m2). You might want to put up a partition wall on the first floor to create a separate bedroom and hallway to access the stairs to the second floor. To the side and rear of the house is a small garden of around 100m2. Not huge I'm sure you'll agree but the perfect low-maintenance holiday home size which allows you to sit out in the sunshine with a glass of wine.

This property definitely needs someone to show it a bit of TLC but it's a great price and with a little bit of hard work, it could be a lovely little cottage in a very pretty part of the Vienne. NOTAIRES FEES: 5,200 EUROS
