Jyoti- Jody has lived in Thailand and studied extensively with Pichet Boonthume, Asokanada, and was assistant in residence at Wat Po. She has a diploma from The College of Ayurveda in Kerala, India and is recognised by both the Thai and Indian governments. Her work with HIV patients, using essentail oils and Thai massage appeared in Massage Magazine.She has practiced yoga for 25 years as well as Chi Kung, and Tai Chi. She is also a professional singer who has sung with Ravi Shankar and a Theravada Buddhist.
